TWO POSITIONS AVAILBLE -
Scope:
· The focus of this position is to provide leadership to the hourly manufacturing staff and achieve productivity goals.
· Will need to be able to motivate and instruct employees as well as administer discipline as necessary.
· Should develop and establish defined goals and achieve those results with the plant workforce.
· Will be responsible for ensuring goals are met safely and that workforce is operating within safety guidelines.
· Will work with union workforce and have an understanding of work rules, policies, etc.
· Part of a team of shift supervisors who work together to accomplish and maintain high level of performance in the manufacturing facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BS) required, Engineering degree is preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise all aspects of the manufacturing process.
· Inspect equipment for cleanliness.
· Ensure correct materials are used in the manufacturing process.
· Ensure that standard operational procedures are being followed.
· Supervise the blenders and packers in all aspects of their duties.
· Responsible for consistency, productivity, quality, safety and people development.
· Performs additional tasks as required to accomplish goals.
Hours: Work the hours necessary to support all plant activities running 24x7.
