Key Position Responsibilities
8-16 HOURLY REPORTS
Ensures and verifies all production is within the department’s budgeted standards (i.e. downtime, waste, yield, efficiencies, overtime, expenses, etc.). Immediate corrective action is taken, if needed.
Coordinates with Blending, Shipping, Receiving, Quality and Maintenance to ensure they provide the materials and support needed to meet production goals.
Identifies, analyzes and resolves problems relating to product quality, efficiency, processes, materials, scrap, waste, personnel, etc.
Trains, monitors, evaluates, coaches, develops, and when necessary, disciplines employees in a timely manner.
Conducts departmental training for production employees and maintains accurate records (i.e. Quality System, AIB, safety and work instructions, production efficiency, etc.).
Has technical knowledge for troubleshooting skills and is able to run all production equipment.
