APPLICANT MUST HAVE CURRENT OR RECENT FOOD/BVG MFG EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED

Qualifications/Education:

·          Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school desired.

·          Two to three years of experience in the Packaging department preferred.

·          Knowledge of proper operating procedures for the Hooper and Schnieder.

·          Ability to work well with others and must possess strong personal qualities.

·          Strong communication abilities in both written and verbal.

·          Knowledge of word and excel computer software.

Summary:

·          Responsible to ensure department is running smoothly and in a safe, productive way. 

·          Focus on packaging products, quality, and people. 

·          Identifies, investigates, and works to solve any problems that arise. 

·          Works closely with department employees and reports any issues to Packaging Manager.

·          Under the direction of the Packaging Manager, supervisor will oversee all daily activities, which include supervision of product received, packaging product correctly, sanitation, production specifications, product quality and management of all personnel.
