The 3rd Shift Production Supervisor will carrying out the daily production by confirming, delegating, coordinating and informing employees of the processing of orders. Issues corrective actions on non-conforming product and serves as a liaison between management and line personnel.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:
¬ Coordinates and informs Department Manager of any issues affecting production orders.
¬ Assures and verifies that all production is within the department’s budgeted standards (i.e. downtime, waste, yield, overweight, efficiencies, overtime, expenses, etc.).
¬ Conducts departmental training for production employees and maintains accurate records (i.e. Quality System, AIB, safety and work instructions, production efficiency, etc.)
¬ Conducts performance evaluations of subordinates and develops personnel for future opportunities.
¬ Assures that all employees follow company policies, procedures and established work instructions.
¬ Resolves any employee issues and documents disciplinary actions and superior performance recognitions for all employees.
¬ Enters purchase requisitions into system.
¬ Obtain production schedule, request necessary work materials distribute among the operators and line workers.
¬ Enter data into SAP system, to complete production reports.
EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
¬ College Degree
¬ Bilingual Spanish & English Required
¬ Food Manufacturing Experience – working knowledge
¬ Computer skills (SAP, Windows, Word, and Excel) strongly preferred.
¬ Ability to operate machinery and equipment.
