| RESPONSIBILITIES |
ONLY CANDIDATES WITH RECENT FOOD AND BEVERAGE EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED
Primary technical resource for all 6 oz. Vercon packaging lines. Identify, lead, develop, and execute solutions for quality, performance, and overuse improvements on packaging systems.
Accountabilities:
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to the 6 oz. Vercon lines.
* Utilize continuous improvement techniques to drive improvement. Demonstrate understanding of the interactions between machine, materials, methods, man, and environment to provide robust solutions.
* Ensure long-term success of capital projects by serving as the system owner, leveraging Early Management techniques, and supporting start-ups.
* Partner w/ R&D to provide technical leadership on tests and start-ups
* Develop/maintain material balances and unit operation capability information to ensure optimal production rates, parameters, and formulas.
* Develop/maintain strategic technical improvement plans for systems. Assist in developing 3 year capital plans for 6 oz. platform. Conduct capacity studies, enhance system reliability, and identify/implement productivity improvements for new technologies.
* Develop/deliver technical training for various levels of the organization and serve as a divisional resource in cross-functional platform/technology/product teams.
* Serve as a technical liaison for all levels including production /maintenance, plant technical and management resources, corporate engineering and R&D organization, and other plants.
* Additional Duties as assigned.
Qualification Required Skills/Experiences:
Recognized technical abilities and practical experience with strong capabilities in the following areas:
- Theory/functionality of manufacturing systems and unit operations

- Statistics and analytical methods
- Process measurement and control
- Advanced computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting
