BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:
Supervises all maintenance operations. Maintains all equipment and assists in the design and installation of new systems. Supervises foremen regarding servicing machine breakdowns.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel, establishing priorities in schedules and repairing equipment, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals, work orders and PPOs and ensuring work stays within the departmental budget.
Manages personnel by assigning work duties, providing training and counseling personnel. Performs other duties by coordinating work with outside inspections, providing project management, ensuring safety of personnel and performing other duties as required.
Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids:
Computer and related software, multimeters, testing equipment, cutting torch, schematics, lathe, mill, welding equipment, drill press, hand and power tools
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Formal Education:
Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be obtained with a two year associate’s degree, diploma or equivalent from a college, technical, business, vocational, or correspondence school. Appropriate certification may be awarded upon satisfactory completion of advanced study or training.
Experience:
Over five years up to and including six years experience is required.
Certifications and Other Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
Journeyman Electrician License
Certified Bakery Engineer
EPA HCFC Certification-Technician Type I & II
