POSITION MAINTENANCE MANAGER / PLANT ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB SUMMARY and DESCRIPTION

The Technical Manager provides all required technical support to plant bottling and water processing equipment.  Coordinate local projects, facility maintenance, and safety/environment activities. 

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Design and coordinate plant Preventive Maintenance plans

 

·         Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance through use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System

 

·         Provide technical direction for all capital projects for the facility

 

·         Administer technical support and strategic direction for all site safety and environmental initiatives

 

·         Analysis reporting and communication of departmental key metrics related to maintenance systems, safety and environmental

 

·         Manage all facility maintenance

 

·         Track, manage, and improve energy usage of the Plant

 

·         Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for all maintenance, safety and environmental related activities

 

·         Provide direct support to all continuous improvement activities for Production units

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s degree in engineering; masters preferred

 

·         Three to five years of experience managing a maintenance or technical department or five to seven years of related experience in a manufacturing environment

 

·         Previous maintenance experience in a food or beverage production environment

 

·         In-depth understanding of the preventative maintenance process

 

·         Thorough understanding of automation controls and industrial power distribution

 

·         Knowledge and experience to plan and execute projects from conception to completion

 

·         Solid analytical, problem solving, and technical troubleshooting skills

 

·         Working knowledge of the financial considerations when controlling a maintenance budget

 

·         Ability to influence change and innovation in a team atmosphere

 

·         Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills

 

·         Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment

 

·         Proficient in making business decisions using facts and good judgment

 

·         Self starter who requires minimal direct supervision

 

·         Acquainted with Productive Total Maintenance and Statistical Process Control
